- Join the practice. Pick an individual or family membership at Foothill Family Medicine.
- Pay from your HSA. Use your HSA debit card or reimbursement for the monthly fee, within the $150/$300 monthly caps.
- Keep your HDHP. A qualifying high-deductible plan keeps you HSA-eligible and covers the big stuff DPC doesn't.

Frequently asked questions
Can I pay the Foothill Family Medicine membership with my HSA?
Yes — under the 2026 rules you can use your own HSA to pay a qualifying direct primary care membership tax-free, up to $150/month for an individual or $300/month for a family. The fee must be paid from your own HSA, not by your employer.
Is a DPC membership the same as insurance?
No. Direct primary care is a membership for primary care services — it is not health insurance and does not replace it. Most members keep a high-deductible health plan for hospitalizations and specialists, and the HDHP is also what keeps them HSA-eligible.
Where is the practice located?
